Red shoes have always had a bit of a mythical allure, and we were pleased to see Kate kicking off those neutrals for a while and stepping out in a pair of lipstick-red heels in honour of Canada day yesterday afternoon. The mid-heeled shoes were a perfect match for her Lock & Co. 'Mohito' fascinator, and helped to breathe new life into her familiar Reiss dress. But where did she find these stylish heels? L.K Bennett perhaps? Or are they another little foray into designer territory after her flirtation with Manolo Blahnik? No, they are neither: the shoes are from the British high street once again (though the high end, naturellement) and can be bought from Hobbs. They are the Albini style in 'cherry' (sold out, of course!) which are still available in black and retail at £79.
